- The British Connection is a Retail British Foods shop and Cafe'. From 2002-2009 we were located in the Historic Town of Smithville Village, but have since moved on to our new location: 130 New Jersey Ave. Absecon, NJ. We are conveniently located near Ocean City, Brigantine, Atlantic City and Margate, and just an hours drive from Philadelphia. We are quite easy to get to from North and Central New Jersey and New York City. We have greatly expanded since our move from the Smithville shops, in addition to all of the great British Foods, beverages and teas that you love, we also have a huge selection of fine Cheese! Our cheese is cut to your order, and we also have spreads, pate's, chutneys and accompaniments for Cheese. Coffee, Tea, biscuits and scones are available to eat-in, and we also have coffee and tea to takeaway. Whether you live in New Jersey, or just visiting here, a trip to the British Connection shop is a must! PS....bring a cooler for our popular Meat Pies, Bangers, Sausage rolls, Pork Pies, kippers.....!
